The international curriculum

Starting from the 38th cycle, the PhD course has activated an international curriculum in cooperation with the University of Navarra. The main objective of the international curriculum is to strengthen scientific collaboration with the University of Navarra to develop joint research in the following subjects (included in the scientific field of relevance of this doctorate and also responding to the strategic needs of the PNRR): Company/Business Law, Civil Law, Human Rights, Climate change and Artificial Intelligence.

The second objective, which is consequential to the first, consists in ensuring that this joint research allows the participation of the two universities, with a team that includes PhD students from the international curriculum, in the selection of the Horizon Europe program.

The Teaching Board has been enriched by the presence of colleagues from the University of Navarra who will be able to participate in the selection of PhD students and who will tutor them together with an Italian colleague.

The selected PhD students will have to spend a research period of at least one year at the University of Navarra.

For each PhD student of the international curriculum, the possibility of stipulating a co-tutelle agreement with the University of Navarra will be evaluated to allow the PhD student to obtain a double PhD qualification (University of Turin-University of Navarra).

A PhD scholarship is reserved for the international curriculum.
