Starting from the XXXIX cycle, the 2023-2027 Excellence Project’s scientific committee (Progetto d'Eccellenza 23-27 - Dipartimento di Giurisprudenza), which consists of internationally renowned professors, jurists and non-jurists, defines a training path aimed at enhancing the PhD students’ multidisciplinary and research empirical skills.

As of a.y. 2024/25, the Doctorate in Law, the Individual and the Market has set up a Monitoring and Review Committee for the doctoral course (CMR-PhD), chaired by the course coordinator, with the participation of a teaching component, a student component and technical-administrative support staff (as recommended by the Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Doctoral Courses 2023, point 4).

The tasks of the CMR-PhD are as follows

  • communicating the methods and deadlines within the PhD Course monitoring plan to the actors involved (PhD students, tutors, Teaching Board, PTA)
  • carrying out the periodic analysis of the data collected over the medium term (12 months), by identifying particular critical situations and the relevant intervention plans aimed at overcoming any criticalities detected
  • communicating the methods of structured listening to doctoral students (also by means of the questionnaires provided by ANVUR), analysing the results and if necessary, supplementing the survey with other tools
  • drawing up a concise Report for the Doctoral School in which the Review analyses are incorporated.
